Mushk Bala is a perennial herb which flowers from May to July. The rhizomes and roots are collected, cleaned and dried in the shade and are used as a stimulant and as a tonic. It is also used for patients with Mirgi (epilepsy), Kopique (coughs), neurosis and habitual constipation.
