The whole plant is collected, excluding the root, and it is dried and ground. The powder obtained is used as condiment and Flavoring agent in daily diet. Fresh plant is chopped and boiled in water and a steam bath is taken for the removal of placenta after delivery. Coriander (Danu) seeds are boiled and the decoction is given to teenage girls with barley bread as sex suppressant.
