This is a scented herb. The leaves are collected, dried and ground. The powder in a small quantity is mixed with bread and the bread becomes very delicious and scented. This herb is very popular among women folk. It is used as Mehdank (lit. back strengthener) by local women to strengthen weak backs common at time of pregnancy.
