Local Practice:
The thick portion of the branches are cut and kept under the sun for l-2 days. The wood is warmed slightly and an oil is extracted which is used against bichich. Fresh leaves are collected and spread on vegetable plots to protect vegetables from insects and pests. It is also used as an effective green manure especially for paddy fields.
